As you can see in these panels, variegated yarns are not the the best choice.

This chart will come out mirror backward on one side in double knit, but it would work great in single knits. I used duplicate stitch to make the light on top.

Any lettering should be done in duplicate stitch if you are doing a double knit project.Tonal yarns usually work out okay, but variegated yarns should be avoided
